A vibrant place with a solid price tag that more or less corresponds to the quality of the dishes. The Brussels Sprouts was the dish of the evening the others were good too. They stuff a lot of people into this room so prepare yourself for limited privacy.
A must for anyone living in the DMV. I have been here multiple times and it is always my first recommendation for anyone visiting the area. Order the garlic knots and any pasta dish - each one i’ve tried has been superb. They also have a huge wine selection for all you wine connoisseurs out there.
Had a wonderful surprise birthday party here this past weekend. We reserved a large table. The service was excellent. It’s a wonderful setting with delicious dishes. They have an extensive wine and beverage menu. Would highly recommend.
Really beautiful restaurant with great, simple but delicious food. The pasta is delicious, so we’re the green beans and garlic knots. I will say, the prices seem a bit high for the portion size, but the quality is very high. Would still recommend!
The music was good, the food was good, and the service was so sweet. I have not one complaint. Try all the wines, they have a superb collection. I was impressed and I will be back!
Outstanding small restaurant with high quality food. We went there with friends for a birthday and started with several small dishes. The garlic knots and brussel sprouts were really good. The pickled veggies were good, but with multiple people sharing the one piece of bread was awkward to share without a knife to cut it up.
We all got different pasta dishes and they were very good. The mushroom pasta was excellent, the short rib ravioli was very good, and the sausage pasta was good.
The staff here is outstanding and our waiter was incredible at describing the dishes and recommending things based on how we were feeling.
The only downside to this place is that it is in the Adams Morgan area, but at least not on the main strip.
It was my first time experiencing this restaurant with my boyfriend and friends and it was a fantastic experience. Vibe - plenty of space around you when you’re seated to truly make you feel comfortable. I liked the bar being in the center with the Italian wine decor vibe overall, since it’s an Italian restaurant. Service- respectful, prompt, professional and the server took charge of the table with other servers. My friends noticed this and loved the treatment. It’s the little things, right?! Bathroom- it was clean and stocked up. Food- Honestly, I’m not usually an Italian food fan, but it was 5 star level of taste, plating, and just overall yummy goodness! My ravioli was just pasta pillows of scrumptious! The garlic knots were light, airy and just amount of garlic flavors. Even the carrots were freaking good! I’m talking basic vegetables and it was delicious. So I asked everyone at the table - 3 other people and 2 were at 5 stars and 1 was a 4 stars. My own personal experience was 5 stars. I mean it was a good dining experience. The only item to be aware of is the prices, but hey you’re worth it!
I had not been in this restaurant since Covid and I’m very glad that their quality remains superb. The pasta was perfect, as were the starters (loved the beets) and delicious desserts. Will be coming back more often.
